** Architectural Control Required.
Permanent versus non-permanent accessory buildings.
An accessory structure is only considered permanent if it on permanent foundation i.e. footings or attached to a slab. Otherwise, it is considered non-permanent, regardless of the size.
PAHOA only has architectural control over permanent buildings.
However, all structures, whether permanent or non-permanent, require either a placement permit or a building permit from Los Alamos County.
For R-A zoning, accessory structures are limited to four. Section 16-273 Accessory buildings and structures. Subparagraph d) Number of accessory buildings and structures.
